Particular attention must be given to the grade of the side forms to obtain the desired riding quality. Hand finish methods, as defined by Section 502.4.8.6 of the Standard Specifications, may be used for the concrete approach pavement. The concrete approach pavement shall be cured in accordance with Sec 703 for bridge decks but does not require a concrete sealer.
