===1054.3.1 Procedure===
Laboratory prequalification of an admixture will be based on the following procedure:
:(a) The manufacturer shall submit a one-quart (liter) sample of the admixture to the Division Engineer, Materials. This sample must be accompanied by a manufacturer's certification and guarantee that fully complies with the requirements of the specifications.

:(b) The sample shall be subject to the following Laboratory tests:
:::pH--AASHTO T200

:::Specific Gravity (25°C/25°C)--ASTM D1429, Method A - Pycnometer

:::Non Volatile, percent:
:::::Air-entraining Agents--ASTM D2369;
:::::Retarding Agents, Water Reducing Agents,
::::::and Accelerators--AASHTO M194, Section 18.2.
